He was predeceased by: his brothers, Minard and Edwin (Eddie). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Landon, Monti (Tesfaye Hunde) of Calgary, Shaynee of Swift Current, Hayley, Carson (Saskatoon), Niki (Krista Dueck), Addison and Leahana of Saskatoon; his brother Lawrence of Edmonton; his cousins, Earl, Glen Modien and Gordie Olson; his former wife Leona; and his grandchildren, Hayley, Carson, Addison and Leahana. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
