She was predeceased by: her grandson Austin; her parents, Thomas Hallam and Elsie Hallam; her siblings, Ruby, Joyce, Gladys, Spencer, Frank and Lloyd; and her husband Jacob Gerlach.

She is survived by: her great grandchild Gerry Gerlach; her sons, Dean (Valerie), Brent and Clayton (Tammy); her grandchildren, Jamie (Bill), Jillian (Patrick), Darby and Jarett; her great grandchild Nora; her brother Douglas; her sisters-in-law, Ruby and Diane; and her friends, Pat, Lloyd and Pastor Joell Haugan.
