He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Gauvin and Rose Gauvin; his wife Ruth Gauvin; his granddaughter Katie Wallin; his siblings, Rose Ernie (Keith), Charlie Gauvin (Vivian), Irene MacIntosh (Allan), Leo Gauvin, Phil Gauvin (Terry), Cecile Hannon, Raymond and Andre Gauvin; and his in-laws, Herman, Mina Kemper, George Kemper (Tilly), Frank Kemper (Marj), Lela Meyer (Victor) and Ora Way-White.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tyler Wallin (Ashley), Rebecca Gartner (Lucas), Rachel Yolland (Cody), Mitchell Gauvin, Danille Gauvin (Connor Thompson), Nick Gauvin (Katie Andreas), Vanessa Gauvin (Greig Beveridge), Jackson Krywulak (Minji Kim) and Dani Krywulak (Branson Tancowny); and his great grandchildren, Jayan, Amelia Gartner, Brynn, Bobby Wallin, Talon Moen, Georgie Yolland, Willow Beveridge, Charlie Gauvin and Ottilie Tancowny.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church (1850 Springs Gate, Swift Current, SK S9H4E1).
