It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Germaine Sherwick (Swift Current, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Sherwick; her son Marvin Sherwick; her grandson Jason Sherwick; her close friend Henry Koch; and her great grandchild Isaiah Backstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Nicolson (Ron), Janet Krause (Garry), Donna Backstrom (Ron), Erroll Sherwick (Lorraine), Gisele Classen (Dean) and Shirley Sherwick; and her grandchildren, Troy Nicolson (Carmel), Heidi Hildebrand (Matt Brown), Connelly Sherwick (Crystal), Trevor Sherwick (Grace), Greg Sherwick (Tanya), Bradley Sherwick (Danielle), Kristine Gullickson (Tristan), Cindy Calder (Jody), Sterling Krause, Tanya Figg (Paul), Michelle Hurford (Cal), Travis Backstrom, Justin Sherwick, Jamie Sherwick (Glenn), Jacinta Webster (Rob), Duane Classen, Trina Classen (Brett Sagen) and Andrew Classen. She is also survived by siblings, their spouses, and countless nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Christ the Redeemer Building Fund, a tribute to Germaine's enduring faith and commitment to her community.
