He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Maalerud and Marjorie Maalerud. He is survived by: his stepmother Lottie Maalerud of Swift Current, SK; his brother Les Maalerud (Brenda) of Kamloops, BC; his nieces and nephews, Carmen, Ryan, Ewan and Carl Maalerud (Dawn) of Piapot, SK; his children, Kelly, Rhyse, Eve and Anu; his sister Carol Bitschy (Keith) of Lethbridge, AB; and his nieces, Angela, Amber and Andrea. He is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews.
