With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Olson (Swift Current, Saskatchewan), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 19, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Jackson and Edith Jackson; her son Barry Olson; her grandson Lukas Olson; and her brother Frank.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence; her children, Lawrence (Kathryn), Stephen, David, Michael (Gayleen) and Denise Schneider (Marty); her grandchildren, Dustin Olson (Nikki), Alexandra Welta (Chad), Colby Schneider (Tatum), Nelson Schneider (Acacia), Dalton Schneider (Ashlyn) and Alyssa Olson (Chad Brandon); her great grandchildren, Jayden Olson, Anika Welta, Cailem Welts, Madelyn Schneider, Camryn Schneider and Claire Schneider; and her sisters, Jean, Ora and Estelle. She is also survived by her siblings until her father.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the Nordland Lutheran Church.
