“To bev and family, we are saddened to learn of esther’s passing. She was in our dad’s home at the meadows and we had many delightful conversations with her. She was always looking out for the other residents’ best interests, and kept the staff on their toes! “Our most sincere condolences to the MacLaurin family. Whenever we think of Esther, we remember a story from a number of years ago: We were at Jim and Nadine's and someone had brought, from their grandmother, a home-made, uncooked, frozen pie for dessert. We were unsure how to get it ready, so a phone call was made to Esther. Her response was to preheat the oven, put the pie in, and take it out when it was done. That reply was the perfect, common sense answer - and the pie was delicious.”
