She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Howes and Florence Howes; her husband Joseph Andrew Brown; her son Joseph Myles Brown; her siblings, Lawrence Howes, Lewis Trotter, Morna Perron, Winsome Gillespie, Annie Howes and Lois Waker; her sister-in-law Betty Trotter; and her daughter-in-law Shelby Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Mark Brown and Darren Elmer Brown; her daughters-in-law, Linda Brown and Vickie Anne Brown; her granddaughters, Miranda Brown (Connor Moen) and Angela Brown (Zach Coward); her great grandchildren, Oliver Moen and Hudson Moen; and her sister Edna Stach. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

When Dad became ill with Parkinson Disease, Mom was his caregiver and never once complained how hard it was both physically and mentally that it had to be for her to do so.
