He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann and Eva; his siblings, John, Ernie, Gerald, Anne, Mary and Harriet; and his parents-in-law, John and Harriett Aldag.

He is survived by: his wife Coleen; his sons, Randall (Lorna) of Calgary, AB and Kenneth (Sharon) of Denver, CO; his granddaughters, Heather and Lisa; and his brothers-in-law, Calvin Aldag (Jean) and Don Aldag (Kaye). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
