Douglas Ries Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Ries (Swift Current, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Paulette Dyck; and his grandparents, Peter Ries, Catherine Ries, Jack Kraushaar and Elizabeth Kraushaar.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Shari Ries; his parents, Jim Ries and Donna Ries; his father-in-law Abe Dyck; his wife Mel Ries; his children, Braedon Dyck, Phoenix Ries, Bliss Ries and Sasha Ries; his siblings, Len Ries (Shari), Darcy Ries (Mardelle) and Bonnie Ries; his sister-in-law Candie Huber (Troy); his nieces and nephews, Cassie Ries (Mitch Francoeur), Morgan Ries (Ryan Gerbrandt), Rosalie Horrocks, Reece Huber, Brayden Ries, Colton Reed, Jordan Reed, Conrad Horrocks, Zane Huber and Zoey Filion-Ries; and his spouse Melanie Dyck.
