He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Wagner; and his mother-in-law Fern Davis. He is survived by: his father Bill Chalk; his daughter Keely Dawne of Swift Current; his wife Tracy Chalk; his daughter Hayley Cabrales (Juan); his brother Fred Chalk (Denise); his nephew William Chalk (Laura-Ann); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Koehn and Sterling; his brother Murray Chalk (Leanne); his nephew Dalton Chalk of Swift Current; his stepfather Alvin Wagner of Swift Current; his stepbrothers, Gerald Wagner (Abi) of New Denver, B. C. and Rory Wagner (Fern); his sons, Dale and Lane of Olds, AB.; his sister-in-law Lexie Eidsness of Swift Current; his niece Lori Wedel (Wil); his great-nieces, Ella and Ava of Prince George, B. C.; his nephew Greg Eidsness (Marina); his niece Brittany Eidsness (Hardi) of Vancouver, B. C.; his brother-in-law Barry Davis (Kathy); his nieces and nephews, Stefan Davis (Sierra) of Winnipeg, M. B. and Kelsey Davis of Regina, S. K.; and also, Ashlyn Schutte of Regina, S. K., Zac Schutte of Moose Jaw, S. K and Donnie. He is also survived by his brothers, cousins, friends, and later, his nephew.
As the girls grew older, they accompanied him up North to go bear hunting and Juan even made it up the year before covid.
In memory of Donnie Chalk, donations made to the Swift Current Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.
