He is survived by: his grandsons, Austin and Ethan; his wife Marilyn Giesbrecht; his son Darwin (Mandy); his grandchildren, Porter and Jaya; his daughter Autumn (Darcy); his grandchildren, Seth and Trinity; his stepson Steve (Trynell); his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Ethan and Emily; his stepdaughter Shelley (Chris); and his stepgrandchildren, Aaron, Chase and Hailey. He is also survived by his siblings; and by his nieces and nephews.

In memory of Don Giesbrecht, donations made to the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
