He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Roosen and Irma Roosen; his parents-in-law, Don and Helen Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Moberg and Evelyn Roosen.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Peterson (Sue); his daughter Rhonda Kurtz; his grandsons, Cody, Dylan, Ethan (Meisie) and Garrett; his son Ryan (Brandi); his grandchildren, Taylor Spetz (Dylan) and Kyle; his great grandchild Casey Spetz; his brother Larry; and his sister-in-law Sharon Moberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
