He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigismund Mauer and Irma Mauer (Bashaw). He is survived by: his sister Erika Egert (Agnes Penner); his children, Jody Yuen (Alan) and Troy Mauer (Bridgette); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Grayden, William and Scotlynn.
