She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Strickert and Bertha Strickert; her husband Victor Gruchy; her daughters, Betty and Christine; her granddaughter Anastasia Lee; her great grandchild Harvey Harris; and her siblings, Doris Ross and Lloyd Strickert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Esther Lee (Albert), Holly Berkan (Terry), Diane Salmond (Peter), Arlene Schapansky (Kelvin), Leona Kent (Fraser) and Kathleen Bute (Ron); and her son-in-law Ronald Howard.
