It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Henry Kennedy (St Walburg, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kennedy and Rose Kennedy; his siblings, Darlene Andres and Arthur Kennedy; his granddaughters, Candace Opikokew and Kimberly Thunderblanket; his nieces and nephews, Chantel Boss Thunderblanket, Daleen K. Bosse (Muskego), Sheldon Thunderblanket and Lauren Muskego; his granddaughter Elizabeth Angel Kennedy Mason; his adoptive mother Lizzie Whitehead; his parents-in-law, Gabe Mason and Eliza Muskego; and his brother Roderick Whitehead.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ty and Tishelle; his wife Helen Kennedy; his children, Patrick Jr. Kennedy, Terry Kennedy, Harley Kennedy (Michelle), Leslie Bells Kennedy (Martin), Katelyn Kennedy (William) and Summer Kennedy (Kyle); his adoptive children, Toneisha Chief (Donnelly), Tannika Chief, Junel Bird (Dwayne), Nellie Waskewitch (Gary), Carly Dillon, Barbara Chief, Verna Chief, Linda Stanley, Judy Cook, Ruby Cook, Delma Cook, Pauline Cook and Noel Cook; his siblings, Dennis Kennedy (Debbie), Wayne Kennedy (Judy), Keith, Johnny, Ronnie Kennedy, Marlene Albert (Gordon), Sylvia Swindler (Walter), Sheila Andres, Brenda Thunderblanket and Blossom Pooyak; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Muskego (Pauline), Dennis Muskego, Lillian and Vina Muskego. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
