With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Leslie Hanson (St Walburg, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martin Leslie Hanson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marinus Hanson and Joy Hanson; his parents-in-law, Katherine and Clem Leer; and his in-laws, George Leer, Gabe, Max Volk, Jeannie Leer and Ron Simmonds.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Lorna (Rob), Les (Sandy) and Raelene; his grandchildren, Koby, Tristan, Halle Hanson, Ryna and Evan Humniski; and his in-laws, Dorothy Volk, Georgina Leer, Oscar Leer (Lucille), Deloris Volk, Clarence Leer (Pat), Elizabeth Simmonds, Bill Leer, Sandra Salzl (Richard) and Marrianne Bourne (Geoff). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (2 Ave, St Walburg, SK S0M2T0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
