She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Ann and Marie Ann; her husband Jim Best; her son Allan Best; her grandchildren, Michael Best and Amanda Best; and her siblings, Elizabeth Ell (George), Walter Carter (Elise), Mary Cecile Fox (Joe), Mary Rose Haywood (Merle), Jerry Carter (Clara), Fred Carter (Maryanne), Mary Louise Whitford (Joe), Victoria Loyie (Leo), Wilfred Carter (Alice), Rema (Lawrence Dumont) and John Carter (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Florence Opissinow (Carter) and John Best (Linda); and her great grandchildren, James Best (Luanne) and William Best (Sherri). She is also survived by her eight children, thirty-one grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
