He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe and Emma Waterhen; his parents, Andrew Canepotatoe and Florence Waterhen; his siblings, Margaret Waterhen, Cecilia Rabbitskin, Mary Anne Canepotatoe (Wilson), Barbara Canepotato, Josephine Amy Waterhen, Josephine Mary Waterhen, Velma Canepotatoe, Roselyn Waterhen, Sharon Weeseekase, Percy Waterhen and Miles Canepotatoe; his nieces and nephews, Jason Waterhen, Calvin Waterhen, Donavon Chief, Randy Lewis, Natasha Waterhen, Melissa Rabbitskin, Calinda Waterhen, Corrina Singer (Waterhen), Julianne Waterhen, Karen Rabbitskin and Kerry Canepotato; and his great grandchildren, Dalton Sunchild and Ty Keenan Lasas-Crookedneck.
He is survived by: his children, Esther Sunchild, Clinton, Waylon, Jesse, Shannon and Elaine Sunchild (Dale); his grandchildren, Farrah, Brett, Zontray and Tavin; his child Skyler; his child-in-law Larsen Lasas (Amanda); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Rayden, Theron, Tyreese, Avianna, Aiden and Christopher Lasas (Melanie); his children, Tanisha, Alisa, Keisha, Christopher Jr., Natalie, Zerika, Lucious and David Lasas (Deanna); his grandchildren, Tyrese, Desmond, Deacon, Chase, Macy, Malik and Tess; and his siblings, Violet Canepotatoe (Carlos), Rosie Canepotatoe, Gladys Pahtayken (Marty), Amy Partridge and Daniel Canepotatoe.
