He was predeceased by: his siblings, Francis, Gabe, Ernest Henry, Mervin, Bernie, Maryanne and Lena; his parents, Johnson Morningchild and Theresa; and his stepson Daniel Paradis.
He is survived by: his brothers, Steve (Georgina) and Rene (Kimberly); his children, Cree Paradis Morningchild, Shaun Morningchild, Tyson Morningchild and Casey Thunderspirit; and his grandchildren, Serriah, Daniel, Jackson (Celine), Whitney, Tameen, Tyson (Shaun), Leiara and Deshae (Victor). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
