She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Burgess and Liela Burgess; her husband Alex Gory; her sister Irene; her brother-in-law Alex McCullough; her daughter-in-law Donna; her aunts, Mildred Emil and Harriet Huggins; her uncle Russell Hansen; and her sister Helen Bowbyes (Jim).
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Florence and Valentine Gory; her children, RoseMarie Cook (Russell), Clinton Gory, Darrel Gory (Rose Lynn), Lillian McGowan (Mervin) and Barry Gory (Wendy); her grandchildren, Desiree Gory, Jillian Sharko (Travis), Alysha Molella (Jordy), Spenser McGowan (Kristen) and Curtis McGowan (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Dominic Simon, Oliver, Eberlee Sharko, Aiden, Zoey McGowan, Emma and Jax McGowan; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Koenders, Tom Gory (Marie) and Joseph Gory (Agnes).
She was very happy when the Kingdom Hall was built in Mervin a very short distance from her house on land donated by her father.
