She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Heidel; her daughter Lynn Liebaert; her granddaughter Eva Marie Duhamine; her parents, Jules Nachtegaele and Emma Nachtegaele; and her siblings, Alann Nachtegaele and Joan Johnson.

She is survived by: her sister Doreen Dudek (Marguriet Wintonyk); and also, Emma Duhamine (Albert), Carey Tugnum (George), Cindy Bartko (Dave), David Heidel (Sandra), Lloyd Heidel (Lesley) and Bernard Heidel (Lillian). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grand children.

In lieu of flowers donations maybe directed to Villa Pascal or Catholic Women's League.
