He was predeceased by: his son Nathan; his parents, Frank and Emma; his parents-in-law, Martin and Edna Weber; and his siblings, Evelyn (Roy), Francis (Bill), Lorraine (Jake), Mable (Ron), Lillian, Lloyd, Clarence (Lois), Milton (Erna), Clifford (Marion), Eric (Gwyneth), Melroy (Audrey) and Edwin.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Daniel (Kaitlin); his grandchildren, Connor, Devon and Emma; his siblings, Doris and Ivan (Myrtle); and his siblings-in-law, Verna Wingenbach (Dennis) and Mel Weber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
