She was predeceased by: her parents, Erling Skauge and Viola Skauge; her husband Eric Sommerfeld; her stepson Grant; and her sisters, Doris, Evelyn and Inez.
She is survived by: her son Gord Sommerfeld (Brenda); her grandchildren, Cody Sommerfeld (Kristen), Maverick, Britta McKenzie (Max), Ty and Emma Sommerfeld; her daughter Brenda Cromartie (Dennis); her grandchildren, Lauren (Levi), Karen (Spencer) and Kris Gaudry (Greg); her brothers, Cliff Skauge (Donna) and Allen Skauge; her sister-in-law Donna Sommerfeld; her friend Shirley Marud; and also Shawn Henry Payton (Chelsea).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church (112 2 Ave E, Shellbrook, SK S0J2E0).
