He was predeceased by: his brother Bernard Ahenakew; and his grandparents, Edward, Annie Ahenakew, George and Josephine Greyeyes.
He is survived by: his parents, Clifford Ahenakew and Marie Ahenakew; his siblings, Jean Stonechild, Lois Ahenakew and Joanne Ahenakew; his adoptive son Dylan Daniels; and his daughter Emma Grace Isbister. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
