She was predeceased by: her parents, George Walter and Karolin Walter; her father-in-law Mike Bedi; her siblings, Alex Walter, Caroline Sheridan, John Walter, George Walter, Joe Walter, Frank Walter, Jim Walter and Gordon Walter; and also Maria Bedi Her Husband.

She is survived by: her daughter Annabelle Kotun (Mike) of Spiritwood; her granddaughter Amanda Kotun (Ryan Gibson) of Vermillion, AB; her great grandchildren, Hayes Gibson and Adam Kotun (Brittany) of Spiritwood; her son Jim Bedi (Dona) of Spiritwood; her grandson Jared Bedi (Kate) of Calgary, AB; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Olivia, Charlotte and Jolene Neurauter (Les) of Lloydminster, AB; her husband Oscar Smith; and also, Zayden, Huxley, Sawyer Her, Logan, Cooper, Danya Paichaud of Edmonton, AB and Rorik.

Memorial Donations in memory of Mary Bedi can be made to the Spiritwood Museum as tokens of rembrance.
