He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Betker and Lucy Betker; and his siblings, Maurice Betker, Roy Betker and Gloria Dawson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Jordan (Rick Maines) and Brenda Betker (Les Jessop); his nephew Chris Jordan; his niece Haley Flemington (Tom); his great-nephew Zack Flemington; and his brother-in-law David Dawson. He is also survived by his friends and best neighbours ever, Carol Murray and Bill and Eileen Dobson as well as other family and friends.
