It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Morris in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, born in Battleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Richard and Dale; his adoptive parents, Nellie Morris and Bill Morris; his mother Ethel Bendell; and his siblings, Anita Schneider, Charlie and Raymond Bendell.
He is survived by: his brother Tom Henshaw (Esther); his nieces, Eileen Donahue, Carol Penner and Joyce Savoy; his children, Barb Dutchak (Darryl) of Saskatoon, Lyle Morris (Rose-Ann) of Shellbrook and Larry Morris (Jessie) of Shell Lake; his grandchildren, Sheryl Lafond (Denis), Eddie Lehman (Tari-Lynn), Chad Lehman (Nadia), Stephanie Uzelman (Cory), Leanne Lehman (Brody), Craig Lehman (Dustin), Ron Elliott (Tania), Chris Morris (Allie) and Caitlynn Morris; his great grandchildren, Tyler Lafond (Shayleen), Kelly, Erin (Jordan), Carter Lafond, Jordan Bittner, Brandon, Taylor (Dyson), Carson Lehman, Brittany (Devan), Miranda (Arthur), Braily Lehman, Jake Gordon, Bennet, Knox Uzelman, Seth, Liam Elliott, Maddox Lehman, Aurora, Clair and Kyara Morris; and his great great grandchildren, Kallia, Charlee Bittner and Violet Lafond.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be a private family celebration.
