He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolf and Emilie; his sisters, Edith Helm and Dora Sommerfeld; his wife Lila Hoehn; his children, Edward Hoehn and Melissa Brooks (Matthew); and his granddaughters, Grace, Sarah and Josephine Brooks.
In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Alfred to either the St. John's Lutheran Church or to the Shellbrook & Districts Health Services Foundation – Long Term Care.
