We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2019, at the age of 98, Verne Selvig (Shaunavon, Saskatchewan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verne Selvig to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Selvig and Hilma Selvig; and his siblings, Roy Selvig, Eddie Selvig, Gladys Wilder and Vi Dever.

He is survived by: his children, Rick (Ali), Larry (Gudrun), David (Avi), Kevin (Kristy) and Dianne (Gordon); his siblings, Vick Selvig of Bow Island, AB, Grace Johnston of Edmonton, AB and Norman Selvig (Betty) of Shaunavon; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Johnson of Calgary, AB and Doris Turner of Swift Current, SK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In June 2016 due to Alzheimer's, Verne was admitted to The Meadows where he has been a resident until his passing.
