He is survived by: his child Mexico; his wife Pat; his grandchildren, Joey Billard, Bayle Szwetz, Mikaela Szwetz, Oliver, Toby and Kasper Wilson; his siblings, David (Rhonda) of Saskatoon and Irene (Eric); his mother Renee of Sooke, BC.; his sisters-in-law, Myrna McConnell (Gavin) of Spruce Grove and Paula McEachnie (John) of Spruce Grove; and also, Paul of Brooks, Byllie-Rae Szwetz (Kevin) of Shaunavon and Paula Wilson (Tyler) of Admiral.
Memorial donations in memory of Richard may be made to Shaunavon Handivan Association or to charity of choice.
