Rana Meinert Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rana Meinert (Shaunavon, Saskatchewan), born in Regina, Saskatchewan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her close friend Brett; her husband Brett of Shaunavon; her son Barclay Meinert (Colleen); her grandchildren, Callie of Shaunavon and Emmett of Shaunavon; her children, Calista Meinert and Danatay Meinert; her mother Josie Reed; her siblings, Creigh Reed (Natalie), Darian Reed (Hilda) of Delta, B. C. and Liris Smith (Luke); and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Coutney (Alberta), John Meinert (Pam) and Rodger Stefan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Having inserted many needles in many arms and having educated many children and adults regarding public health, she eventually retired the year following the H1N1 flu pandemic as the Public Health Nursing Clinical Supervisor, based in Swift Current.
