He is survived by: his daughter Bernadette Deobald (Kevin) of Shaunavon; his grandson Devon Deobald (Christina); his great grandchild Willa; his granddaughter Dana Thiessen (Logan); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Nora; his daughter Germaine Trudeau (Keith) of Wymark; his granddaughter Chelsea Voth (Blake); his great grandchild Jack; his granddaughter Courtney Trudeau; his son Loren of Shaunavon; and his siblings, Omer Hamel of Nanaimo, B. C., Henriette Duquette (Louis) of Port Alberni, B. C. and Paul Hamel of Chilliwack. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
