He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gwozdz and Stella Gwozdz; his sister Anne (Leo Genest); his brother-in-law Geoff Evans; his parents-in-law, Ella and John Hoffer; and his in-laws, Jack, Donna Drummond, Marlien Morrell and Don Moser.

He is survived by: his wife Shelby Gwozdz of Saskatoon; his grandchildren, Jensen (Ian), Josh (Destiny), Amity, Lilly and Finn; his sister Phyllis Evans; and his in-laws, Ramon Hoffer (Nelda), Richard Hoffer (Annalee), Wendy Cebryk (Michael) and Bonnie Moser. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
