He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Jesse and Doris Jesse; and his sisters, Olive Strachan, Eileen Smith, Doreen Cheetham and Clara Heinrich.

He is survived by: his daughter Simone Buhr; his grandson Devon Buhr (Jeremy Cantada); his son Sean Jesse (Line Lucas); his grandchildren, Keagan Sloboda, Connor Lucas, Alexandria Morris (Chris) and Mackenzie Johnson (Devin); his great grandchildren, Aurora, Claire, Kyara Morris, Emma, Dallas Hobbs and Maximus Irving-Jesse; and his siblings, Don Jesse (Syl), Donna Barss (Don), Eleanor Shulsky, Joan McIntyre and Deanna Swallow.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made under his name to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
