She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nick Kowalchuk and Tillie Kowalchuk; her husband Mike Switenky; her children, Earl, Terry, Verna and Red Deer Hill; her daughter-in-law Dawne; her brother Paul; her granddaughter Angel; her great grandchild Roman; her in-laws, Joseph, Muriel, Walter, Myra, Steve, Jenny, John, Shirley, Rose, Mike, Peter, Ed and Jerry; her grandchildren, Tara, Adam, Matthew and Amy (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Preston, Haydyn, Lyla and Tilly; her daughter-in-law Wendy; her grandchildren, Nicole, Evan, Andrea (Barclay) and Heather; her great grandchildren, Colton, Maddison, Stephen, Spencer, Cori, Ethan, Sydney, Aiden and Liam; her son-in-law Donald Blocka; her grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Miranda (Christian), Rochelle (Matthew) and Gregory (Marie); her great grandchildren, Brianna, Nicholas, Sophie, Cadence, Korban, Claire, Everly, Elizabeth and Scarlett; her sisters, Mary Zuk and Sylvia Reid; and her sister-in-law Elsie Alexander.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church (770 14 St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V3L9). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025.
