She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lukan and Julia Lukan; her siblings, Viola Pfaff (Edwin), Ermina Theisen (Clarence), Roman Lukan (Anne), James Lukan (Florianna), Alvina Baker (Keith) and Wilfred Lukan; and her grandson Brett Matisz.
She is survived by: her husband John Matisz; and her children, Bev Matisz (Debbie Moshinski), Barry Matisz (Lucille), Jeannine, Rachelle (Jordon Hrynuik), Remi, Brett, Ren, Brian Matisz (Takako), Kai, Leyna, Brenda Lee Deck (Jim Blahun), Braden, Riley and Katie.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on January 8th, 2025 at St. Augustine Parish, 602 Boychuk Drive, Saskatoon, In memory of Marie, donations can be made to the Saskatoon Palliative Care Unit.
