She was predeceased by: her parents, John Medernach and Alvina Medernach; her siblings, Genevieve Kurtenbach, MaryAnne Frie and Roland; and her brothers-in-law, Walter Kurtenbach, Edwin Reding and Werner Bauer.

She is survived by: her spouse Donald Bauer; her daughters, Peggy Anne and Donna Lee Elizabeth; her husband Don; her grandchildren, Amanda Walker, Lance Walker (Lindsey), Luke Walker (Kandice), Stephen Noonan (Alyssa) and Sean Noonan (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Zoe, Liam, Darrel, Isabella and Connor; and her siblings, Louis Medernach (Leona), Lucille Reding, Philip Medernach (Terry), Audry Blais (Ray), Catherine Medernach, Joan Bauer and Arthur Frie (Annette).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
