With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luigi Umberto DiSanto (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luigi Umberto DiSanto to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Di Santo and Carmela Petrucci; and his siblings, Emilia (Tomasso), Domenico (Rosina) and Angiolino (Alfonsina).
He is survived by: his wife Gilda; his daughters, Carmelina (Rick), Anna (Tony) and Gina (Mike); his grandchildren, Kayla (Tyson), Tanner (Marta), Thomas (Shaelynn), Stefanie, Olivia, Cinzia and London; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Nora and Santino; and his niece France.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Co-Cathedral (720 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK S7K3H2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, charitable tax donations may be made to the Saskatoon Community Foundation, Di Santo Fund (https://saskatooncommunityfoundation.ca), which goes to support community needs.
