With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lucy Swystun-Skwara (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lucy left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Lucy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lucy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lucy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Naharney and Sophia Naharney (Kulchinsky); her former husband Eugene Swystun; and her siblings, Ruby, Ina and Dennis.
She is survived by: her husband Mervin Skwara; and her brother Jack Naharney (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Park Funeral Home (311 3rd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K2H9).
