She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Balzer and Katherine Balzer; her husband Walter Hartz; and her siblings, Gladys Reimer and Menno Balzer.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, June Faber and Verna Pogoda (Ed); and also, Olga Haffner (late Johnnie), Sella Balzer Edith (late Allan) and Margaret Balzer (late Elmer). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
