He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rosella Bird (Jones) and Garnet Alfred Bird of Saskatoon. He is survived by: his siblings, Diane (Michel Quirion) of Quebec, Bonnie (Jim Lowes), Keith (Kim) of Prince Albert and Brian (Dianne) of Prince Albert; his stepson Sam Ballantyne (Hannah Johnson); and his granddaughter June Ballantyne of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul's Hall (Ingalls Head Road).
