She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Leland and Betty Leland; and her stepmother Carol. She is survived by: her husband James McLaughlin; her children, Joanne (Ruslan) and Durand; her grandchildren, Cierra (Kaige) and Alexa; and her siblings, Rick (Tammy), Dave Leland and Lisa.
