Illiana Squirrel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Illiana Squirrel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Illiana shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Illiana farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ashley April Taniskishayinew; and her grandparents, Roy Slippery, Mary Taniskishayinew and Charlotte Squirrel. She is survived by: her father Kelly Squirrel; and her siblings, Abigail Taniskishayinew, Xavier Taniskishayinew, Dominique Taniskishayinew and Ashlyn Taniskishayinew.
A wake was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Yellow Quill Band Hall (11 Yellow Quill First Nation Road, Saskatchewan S0A3A0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Yellow Quill Band Hall, Yellow Quill First Nation (11 Yellow Quill First Nation Road, Saskatchewan S0A3A0).
