He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Herron and Gladys Herron. He is survived by: his wife Joan Herron; his children, Shaun (Bevi) and Shalene Herron (Shayne Burwell); his stepchildren, Adrienne Harder (Chris) and Clarke Ward (Denise); his grandchildren, Josh, Cole, Teneille, Taylor, Dion, Dane, Masyn, Maclaren and Ridley; his great grandchildren, Carter, Olivia and Gibson; and his sister Nora. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Cathedral (816 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK S7K3H4).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Fred's memory to the McDowell Foundation, 2317 Arlington Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7J 2H8, or online at McDowell Foundation.
