She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Afseth; her parents, William McConnell and Clara McConnell; and her siblings, Gladys Westwater (Bob), Sylvia DeVisser (John), Dorothy Ross (Denis) and Keith McConnell (Annette).

She is survived by: her children, Barb Afseth, Barry Afseth (Alana) and Guy Afseth (Karan); and her grandchildren, Taylor Afseth, Tanner Afseth, Cassandra Afseth, Ian Afseth and Spencer Afseth.
