He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Krysa and Katherine Krysa; his wife Elsie; his sister Phyllis; and his son-in-law Jeff Kitter.

He is survived by: his children, Ron (Chris), Ruth Hubbard (Kerry), Lori Godwin (Grant), Peggy Kitter and Ellen Dyck (Menno); his grandchildren, Kyle Krysa, Brynn Krysa, Devin Hubbard (Kristy Pahl), Kara Hubbard, Keith Godwin (Dina Lazurko), Brian Godwin (Nicole), Kymber Kitter, Kohl Kitter, Dallin Dyck and Tiarra Dyck; and his great grandchildren, Aldon, Grey and Hadley.
