With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmond Adrien Roland Legars (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Adrien Yves and Paulette Armande Le Gars (Bergot); and his siblings, Yvette Brunelle (Bob), Paulette Duey (George), Janine Yorke (Roy) and Adrien Le Gars.
He is survived by: his children, Edmond Le Gars (Jan), Suzanne (Jack) and Monique (Darcy); his grandchildren, Simone, Noel, Armand, Dee, Zavier, Robert, Heather, Brittany, Madison and Elliot; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Calla, Gordon, Nora, Leon, Turner, Loïc, Deker, Henri, Audrey, Ben, Arlington and Monarch; and his brother-in-law Frank Bibbey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Pl, Saskatoon, SK S7J3V7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan in Ed's memory.
