He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wagner and Martha Wagner (Lesser); his wife Fern Thompson; his brothers, Harvey and Kenneth; his brothers-in-law, John Sawatzky and Fred Smith; and his godson Darren Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Smith (Fred), Carol Sawatzky (John), Ida Bartley (Wayne), Dennis Wagner (Linda) and Gordon Wagner (Patricia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
