He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Sparrow and Kenneth Sparrow; his siblings, Robert Sparrow (Iris), Elizabeth Saunders (Stuart) and Ed Sparrow; and his brother-in-law Bud Stilling.

He is survived by: his sisters, Ada Stilling, Kathi Gelowitz and Lori Heikoop (Martin).
